iDecon 2014 was held on 22 - 23 September 2014 at the Avillion Legacy Melaka Hotel. With the theme 'Emerging Technologies Towards Sustainable Manufacturing', it attracts many students, academics and industry experts to participate and present their work and their studies.

'Concurrent engineering refers to a systematic approach that integrates the concurrent design of products and their related processes. This includes the various manufacturing and support activities. Every element of the product life cycle from conception to disposal, design, quality, cost, schedule and customer requirements are meticulously considered.'

The main purpose of this international conference is to exchange ideas, knowledge and information among the academics and engineers on issues related to product design and its impact on demand basis.

We have sent two PhD students of named Norazlina Mohamad Yatim and Rostam Omar as participants to present their research that has been carried out.

Presentation carried out by Norazlina Mohamad Yatim

It is hoped that all students of OneBaja projects can involve themselves in such conferences to strengthen thier self-esteem and self-confidence to implement high value in the face of presentations involving participants and judges from outside their areas of expertise.
